North Dallas Bulldogs (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roosevelt Mustangs (Dallas, TX), 42-29 in a league bout.

With the win, North Dallas upgrades its record to 2-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Carter (Dallas, TX) to play the Cowboys in a 4A Region II District 12 bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Carter won 36-27 in their recent league bout against Pinkston (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles (Dallas, TX) in a 4A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
