The Potosi Chieftains basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Argyle Orioles to 63 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Monday.
The Chieftains now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dodgeville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Potosi will battle a Dodgers team coming off a 62-52 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Dodgers record now stands at 5-6.
The Orioles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Highland, WI). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Highland was defeated by Darlington (Darlington, WI), 80-38, in a non-league contest.
