Arkansas High School Basketball - Augusta fells Harrisburg

January 8, 2024: Harrisburg, AR 72432

Augusta Red Devils (Augusta, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR), 70-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Augusta upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Marvell (Marvell, AR) to clash with the Mustangs in a 1A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 12. Harrisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record.
