In Monday's league outing, the Beacon Academy Trailblazers (Evanston, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 70-20.

The Trailblazers (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolves go into the Lakeshore outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Wolcott College Prep smashed Waldorf (Chicago, IL), 58-49, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a Lakeshore outing on Wednesday, January 10. Morgan Park Academy will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to The Noble Academy (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-14.
