Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen (Newport News, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA), 59-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Denbigh Baptist Christian upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA) to play the Warriors in a VISAA Division IV bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Hampton Christian Academy lost 88-36 in their recent non-league bout against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Broadwater Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
