Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bronson Eagles (Bronson, FL), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dixie County upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Riverside Christian (Trenton, FL) to play the Wranglers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Wranglers come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Riverside Christian won 58-40 in their recent non-league bout against St. John Lutheran (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Saint Francis Catholic Wolves (Gainesville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Bronson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 64-33 league win over St. John Lutheran (Ocala, FL).
