With the victory, Channel Islands improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Malibu (Malibu, CA) to play the Sharks in a Citrus Coast challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Malibu won 67-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Rangers play the Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) in a Citrus Coast challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Nordhoff will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 65-40 league win over Hueneme (Oxnard, CA).
