In Monday's league outing, the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC), by a margin of 81-47.

The Warriors (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC). The Lions go into the Western Piedmont outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, The Master's Academy was trounced by Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC), 43-26, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Nebo Crossing Academy for a Western Piedmont outing on Friday, January 12. Community Christian Academy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-20 non-league win over University Christian (Hickory, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
