Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) and the host Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), saw Tunstall's basketball squad overcome Dan River by a tally of 64-54.

With the victory, Tunstall improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host George Washington (Danville, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Piedmont challenge on Friday, January 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Friday, January 12. Dan River will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 76-49 non-league loss to Carlisle (Axton, VA).
