Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (North Wildwood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 68-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wildwood Catholic upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Crusaders host Millville (Millville, NJ) to play the Thunderbolts in a Cape/Atlantic - American bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Millville lost 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Egg Harbor Township will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Hermits go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 56-48 league loss to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ).
