St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Paul upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Buckaroos host Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR) to play the Watchmen in a 1A Casco bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Watchmen go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Lewis Academy lost 50-40 in their recent league bout against Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR) in a 1A Casco bout, on Thursday, January 11. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
