Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover overwhelmed by Varina

The Varina Blue Devils basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Hanover Hawks to 43 in the Blue Devils league victory on Monday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a Capital contest on Friday, January 12. Varina will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 75-60 non-league win over J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
The Hawks (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders come into the Capital contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Atlee triumphed over Powhatan (Powhatan, VA), 74-68, in a non-league contest.
