The King Academy Knights basketball team (Batesburg, SC), dropped 62-44 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC)

The Crusaders now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cambridge Academy for a SCISA A Region IV battle on Wednesday, January 10. Laurens Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 72-69 league loss to Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.

The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of the Rosary (Greenville, SC). The Lions come into the SCISA A Region IV battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of the Rosary beat Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro, SC), 41-37, in a league battle.
