In Monday's league match, the visiting Lanham Christian Lions basketball team scored a good 79-69 triumph over the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Bethel Academy Eagles (Manassas, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Lanham Christian will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 73-64 non-league win over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA).
