The Lincoln Lions basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting University Academy Charter Generals to 32 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayonne for a Hudson County - American contest on Tuesday, January 9. Lincoln will battle a Bees team coming off a 53-38 league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Bees record now stands at 5-3.

The Generals (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Abundant Life Academy (Nutley, NJ). The come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Abundant Life Academy was routed by American Christian School (Wharton, NJ), 69-30, in a league contest.
