Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ), 80-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Spotswood upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Kennedy Memorial lost 63-38 in their recent non-league bout against South River (South River, NJ)

Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Middlesex will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 70-30 league win over Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ).
