Arkansas High School Basketball - South Side can't hold off Mt. Vernon-Enola

The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the host South Side Hornet to 82 in the Warhawks league victory on Monday.
The Warhawks now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mt. Vernon-Enola will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 72-61 league win over White County Central (Judsonia, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 19-7.
The Hornet (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against White County Central (Judsonia, AR). The Bears come into the 2A Region 2 contest with a 10-14 record. In their last contest, White County Central was nudged by Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR), 72-61, in a league contest.
