The Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 81-30 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils go into the Northern Neck test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Lancaster walloped Northampton (Eastville, VA), 81-73, in a non-league test.
The Pointers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Middlesex for a Tidewater test on Tuesday, January 9. West Point will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 88-47 league win over Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
