In Monday's league outing, the Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) basketball squad edged the host Rangeley Lakes Lakers (Rangeley, ME), by a margin of 58-55.

The Bereans (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME). The Tigers go into the D South outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Forest Hills was tipped by Carrabec (North Anson, ME), 59-43, in a non-league outing.

The Lakers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a D South outing on Friday, January 12.
