Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy knocked off by South Burlington

The South Burlington Wolves basketball team scored 72 points and held the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers to 61 in the Wolves league triumph on Monday.
The Wolves now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Champlain Valley Union for a Metro contest on Thursday, January 11. South Burlington will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 85-29 non-league win over Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 7-1.
The Hilltoppers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets enter the Metro contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Essex was defeated by Burlington (Burlington, VT), 58-45, in a league contest.
