The Curwensville Golden Tide basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting West Branch Warriors to 25 in the Golden Tide league victory on Monday.
The Golden Tide now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moshannon Valley for a contest on Thursday, January 11. Curwensville will battle a Black Knights/Damsels team coming off a 34-2 league win over Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels record now stands at 5-1.
The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Vikings come into the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Glendale was defeated by Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA), 54-32, in a league contest.
