With the win, Monterey Trail upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Mustangs host Grant (Sacramento, CA) to play the Pacers in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Pacers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Grant won 64-47 in their recent league bout against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 59-50 league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).
