T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC), 39-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, T.L. Hanna upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Woodmont (Piedmont, SC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mavericks play the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Mauldin will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
