The Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), 67-39 in Monday's non-league test.

The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record.

The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Emmaus for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Pocono Mountain East will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 65-42 non-league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
