The Beacon Academy Trailblazers basketball team (Evanston, IL), was overwhelmed 57-14 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL)
The Warriors now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a Lakeshore battle on Wednesday, January 10. Morgan Park Academy will confront a Hawks team coming off a 58-10 league loss to Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-8.
The Trailblazers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolves come into the Lakeshore battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Wolcott College Prep was overwhelmed by Lycee Francais de Chicago (Chicago, IL), 32-31, in a league battle.
