The East Clinton Astros basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Bethel-Tate Tigers to 31 in the Astros league victory on Monday.

The Astros now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. East Clinton will battle a Hurricane team coming off a 57-39 league loss to Goshen (Goshen, OH). The Hurricane record now stands at 5-6.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against New Richmond (New Richmond, OH). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, New Richmond was defeated by Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH), 74-28, in a league contest.
