The Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR), 60-44 in Monday's league test.
The Panthers (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR). The Panthers go into the 2A Region 5 test with a 0-16 record. In their last test, Magnet Cove went down by St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 58-36, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Pine for a 2A Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 9. Poyen will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 68-43 league win over Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-8.
