Colton Yellowjackets (Colton, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bloomington Bruins (Bloomington, CA), 42-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Colton upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA) to play the Fighting Scots in a Skyline bout on Thursday, January 11. The Fighting Scots go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Rim of the World lost 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against Carter (Rialto, CA)

Next up, the Bruins play the Rim of the World Fighting Scots (Lake Arrowhead, CA) in a Skyline bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Bloomington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
