The Brownstown Central Braves basketball team scored 53 points and held the host New Albany Bulldogs to 28 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Braves now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greensburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Brownstown Central will meet a Pirates team coming off a 70-43 non-league win over Brown County (Nashville, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 14-3.

The Bulldogs (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Red Devils enter the Hoosier Hills contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Jeffersonville triumphed over Evansville North (Evansville, IN), 48-40, in a non-league contest.
