The Central Red Devils basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Orono Riots to 34 in the Red Devils league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 10. Central will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 50-47 league loss to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).

With the defeat, Orono moves to 2-6 on the year. The Riots host Lee Academy (Lee, ME) to face the Pandas in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 10. The Pandas enter the game with a record of 2-5. Lee Academy lost 41-30 in their recent league game against Stearns (Millinocket, ME)
