James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), 48-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, James Madison upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Westfield (Chantilly, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a District 1 bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Westfield lost 56-40 in their recent league bout against Centreville (Clifton, VA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) in a District 1 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Chantilly will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 43-38 league win over Westfield (Chantilly, VA).
