Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), 63-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Chavez upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Titans host Wasco (Wasco, CA) to play the Tigers in a South Sequoia bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Wasco lost 57-32 in their recent league bout against Kennedy (Delano, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a South Sequoia bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Delano will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 61-18 league win over McFarland (McFarland, CA).
