Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI) and the visiting Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI), saw Chequamegon's basketball squad overcome Washburn by a tally of 44-29.

With the victory, Chequamegon improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Screaming Eagles travel to Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI) to play the Redmen in a Marawood - North challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Rib Lake lost 49-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Auburndale (Auburndale, WI)

Next up, the Castle Guards play the Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) in a Northern Lights challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Washburn will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
