With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Lancers host Jordan (Long Beach, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a Moore bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Jordan won 72-33 in their recent league bout against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Tarbabes clash with the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore outing, on Wednesday, January 10. Compton will attempt to advance on its 1-16 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 10-8 record after their 60-32 league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
