Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) and the visiting Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ), saw St. David's basketball squad knock off Duncan by a count of 47-29.

With the victory, St. David upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ) to play the Pumas in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Pumas come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Bisbee lost 51-33 in their recent league challenge against Morenci (Morenci, AZ)

Next up, the Wildkats play the Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) in a 1A Tucson Southeast challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Duncan will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Morenci (Morenci, AZ).
