Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) and the host Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA), saw Parkland's basketball squad knock off Emmaus by a count of 48-30.

With the victory, Parkland upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-7.

Next up, the Hornets play the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) in a Lehigh Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Emmaus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
