The Ferris Saxons basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats to 63 in the Saxons league triumph on Monday.

The Saxons now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis & Clark for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Wednesday, January 10. Ferris will meet a Tigers team coming off a 80-54 league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.

The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Gonzaga Prep ran past Cheney (Cheney, WA), 63-39, in a league contest.
