The Grace Davis Spartans nipped the visiting Los Banos Tigers basketball squad by a margin of 44-43 in Monday's league test.

The Spartans (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Lathrop (Lathrop, CA). The Spartans go into the Western Athletic Conference test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Lathrop got by Pacheco (Los Banos, CA), 36-30, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Johansen for a Western Athletic Conference test on Tuesday, January 9. Los Banos will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 49-35 league loss to Mountain House (Mountain House, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-8.
