Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), 63-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Grove City upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to play the Hornets in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Hickory won 43-25 in their recent league bout against Greenville (Greenville, PA)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
