KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harmony Science Academy Tigers (Pflugerville, TX), 40-28 in a league bout.

With the win, KIPP Austin Collegiate upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Valor North Austin (Austin, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Valor North Austin lost 30-24 in their recent league bout against Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the NYOS Charter Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a TCSAAL bout, on Thursday, January 11. Harmony Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 40-26 league win over Harmony Science Academy (Pflugerville, TX).
