Maine High School Basketball - Stearns topples Lee Academy

In Monday's league outing, the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) basketball squad beat the host Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), by a count of 41-30.
The Minutemen (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars go into the D North outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Katahdin defeated Van Buren (Van Buren, ME), 62-18, in a league outing.
The Pandas now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Orono for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 10. Lee Academy will clash with a Riots squad coming off a 49-34 league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME). The Riots record now stands at 2-6.
