Arkansas High School Basketball - South Side ripped by Mt. Vernon-Enola

The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team scored 66 points and held the host South Side Hornet to 32 in the Warhawks league triumph on Monday.

The Warhawks now sport a 25-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mt. Vernon-Enola will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 62-23 league win over White County Central (Judsonia, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-14.

The Hornet (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against White County Central (Judsonia, AR). The Bears enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 2-19 record. In their last contest, White County Central was routed by Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR), 62-23, in a league contest.
