In Monday's league outing, the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) basketball squad beat the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT), by a margin of 58-42.

The Bears (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Berkshire outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Gilbert defeated Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 62-21, in a league outing.
