In their next game, the Trojans face the East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN) in a 3A District 6 game, on Tuesday, January 9. Soddy Daisy will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record.

With the defeat, Rhea County moves to 12-9 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN) to face the Mustangs in a 4A District 5 game on Thursday, January 11. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 4-8.
