In Monday's non-league outing, the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), by a margin of 41-27.

The Blue Tornado (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men go into the Southwest outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Graham was topped by Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 56-40, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Grundy for a Black Diamond outing on Tuesday, January 9. Twin Valley will clash with a Golden Wave squad coming off a 50-8 non-league win over Holston (Damascus, VA). The Golden Wave record now stands at 9-3.
