California High School Basketball - East Union nips River Islands

East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 41-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, East Union upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Kimball (Tracy, CA) to play the Jaguars in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 10-2.
Next up, the Riptide play the Kimball Jaguars (Tracy, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. River Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 50-10 league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, CA).
