Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), 30-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights host Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Hidden Valley lost 34-22 in their recent non-league bout against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 37-22 non-league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
