The Northeastern Knights basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Centerville Bulldogs to 32 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union City for a contest on Thursday, January 11. Northeastern will meet a Indians team coming off a 55-27 league win over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Connersville ran past Blackford (Hartford City, IN), 48-35, in a non-league contest.
