Virginia High School Basketball - Handley can't hold off Spotswood

The Spotswood Trailblazers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Handley Judges to 43 in the Trailblazers non-league victory on Monday.
The Trailblazers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner Ashby for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Spotswood will battle a Knights team coming off a 57-39 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
The Judges (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Meridian was edged by Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA), 43-37, in a non-league bout.
