Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) and the host Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA), saw Marquez's basketball squad wallop Maywood CES by a count of 93-16.

With the victory, Marquez upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA) to play the Dons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Sierra Vista lost 54-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Covina (Covina, CA)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, January 22. Maywood CES will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
